call out to The Lord for all your needs
God hears, god listens, god still moves…
'Then Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn (symbolizing strength) is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. “There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. ' 1 Samuel 2:1-2
hannah is super grateful because The Lord brought her a son (samuel) after praying earnestly to be given the opportunity to be a mother. she promised to give him back to God and kept her word after having him for only a short time. not that she wasn’t in samuel’s life because she was; it was honoring God for His goodness, being the foundation (rock) that she could stand firm on.
even in great challenges and difficulties, we can rest knowing The Lord, our God is constantly there for us - protects us from our enemies, and He will deliver us at the right time. when hannah proclaims there is no one holy nor strong as our God, i, too, testify to that and know of His goodness - helping me overcome when it would be easier to give up.
Father God, let us all rejoice in your goodness, your mercy, your grace, your kindness. may we seek you out constantly, and not when it is convenient or in times of desperation. let us be connected to you at all times Lord. in Jesus’ name i pray, amen!
