God sees you

make sure you are behaving…

4 The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. 5 The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. 6 On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. 7 For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face. ~psalms 11:4-7~

there are many Bible passages that speak of God’s ability to see everything besides this psalm. here’s one of them:

13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. ~hebrews 4:13~

what this should tell you is that you can’t hide whatever you’re doing from God even with your best effort and abilities. these 2 books, chapters, and verses covers the one thing, i believe, people are most scared of to hear: that we will be judged one day for our actions. it is either going to be a wonderful experience (see His face) or a very brutal and painful one (fiery coals and burning sulfur). i don’t know about you but i don’t like getting burned nor do i like the rancid smell of rotting eggs.

you have a choice in life - choose wrong, do wrong, expect trouble; choose right, do right, know peace. the former you may enjoy for a season; the latter your can experience it for a lifetime. i long to see The Lord’s face as that will be my/our reward - being in His Presence. makes everything that you and i go through by living righteously worth whatever struggles we encounter.

Father God, thank you that you continue to help me change and grow. i don’t want ‘burning coals and brimstone’ to be my “reward” as i want to be with you in Heaven to see your face one day. whatever you need to do in me and my family so that i/we can see you in your Kingdom, please do so each and every time. in your mighty and precious name Lord Jesus we pray, amen!
