Is it pretty straight forward?
Aloha is more than a word to say when greeting or saying farewell to someone; even deeper it is more than a simple gesture or feeling.
from a godly, loving perspective…
the breath of God
the word aloha is broken down in (2) words: alo, which means "in the presence", and ha, which means "the breath of life"; from a Christian perspective - it is God breathing life into man, into us.
Bible verses that talks about breath:
then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. ~genesis 2:7~ nlt

but if you turn away from them, they panic. when you take away their breath, they die and turn again to dust. when you give them your breath, life is created, and you renew the face of the earth. ~psalm 104:29-30~ nlt
The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. ~psalm 33:6~
