Jesus the High Priest

hebrews 7:26

S - He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven.

O - just as leaders i’ve admired near and far, when you know they have been through what you are going through and they did not compromise for the sake of ‘winning’ and their integrity is intact, i want to follow those types of people because they stayed true to what they believed in, persevered, and succeeded despite the challenges and naysayers.

Jesus is the perfect “role model” - He was without spot or blemish all the while enduring the pain, insults, rejection, hate, temptation, and more, and He did not falter and give in regardless of how bad it was. would i blame Him if He did, no as i am sure i wouldn’t been able to handle the ask, the assignment He was given by God.

A - Jesus is the one and only Savior of the World who gave of himself and provided a roadmap for us to follow. let’s honor our Father in Heaven by being more like the Lord each and every day. we simply need to use the examples of how He lived, what the Word teaches us, then apply all of it to our own lives every waking moment we got.

P - Father God, thank you for Jesus. may we apply all that Jesus taught and how he lived out His life so that we can be more like Him each and every day. we love you for who you are - the creator of all Heaven and earth. in Jesus’s precious name we pray, amen!
