God’s Promises brings hope

hebrews 6:13-15 nlt

S - 13 For example, there was God’s promise to Abraham… 14 “I will certainly bless you… 15 Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised.

O - 1) have you heard from God; 2) what is He telling you; 3) what will you do next with that info

how incredible to know that God does and did make promises - of which He keeps 100% of the time whereas i definitely cannot say the same. i’m 100% better now than i was in my worldly ways, yet still have failed from time to time.

He fulfilled that promise to abraham (multiply his decedents) and we are part of that family. the one thing abraham did was to trust God and His timing, not ours.

it is never easy to wait - on anyone, and in this case for God. not that you cannot believe in Him for whatever it is; because of our human nature and fleshly desires we tend to want to get it done now and expect whatever it is to come to happen immediately.

A - don’t be in a rush for a vision that God shows you to see it happen this very second. pray, ask for the Holy Spirit to impart wisdom, discernment, and clarity if you are unsure. then when you see God’s plans coming together you start working on the next steps.

P - dear Heavenly Father, please help me to trust that Your Way, Your Will is infinitely better and that i need to wait on you and not be in a rush like i have in the past. teach me to trust, implicitly, my life, my family’s lives, my plans, our plans, to you and know that you are in control. in Jesus’ name i pray, amen!
