'I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. ' Psalms 31:7

the answer is, “YES.” it may not always seem so because things aren’t going your way, your timing, your end results. what this passage reminds us is that God does see us, knows what we are going through, and that He does care how we are feeling.

it sucks at times being alone in a time when all things seem to be coming at you all at once; making it very hard to bear and even overcome - that’s when the devil creeps in, plants that negative thought, the lies about God not loving and caring about us.

the important part is accepting that what you are dealing with is not going to disappear, but you can face it knowing The Lord is with you, leading you to have a different outlook on that situation. He’s always there to provide comfort and rest if we simply seek Him.

even in the season i’m in, this has been a challenging time and i still don’t lack what i or my family needs. always a great reminder to give thanks to the one who does bring joy and peace into our lives. that we can rejoice and be glad even when things aren’t going great.

Father God, thank you for allowing me to go through what i am or have. may i always have a heart of gratitude for the lessons being taught whether they are comfortable or not. allow this time for me to draw nearer to you. i will rejoice in your goodness and mercy. in Jesus’ name i pray, amen!
