connecting your goals and faith
'“Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.” ' Esther 4:16
'Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” ' Matthew 9:29
In order to see real change happen in our lives we should set goals and objectives, develop a plan, list steps to get there, take action, and the key to all this to have success is believing - FAITH, in God, in Jesus, then going for it.
Why it starts here is because without it, and especially if it is not God’s plan, you are bound to fail. If it is God’s will, and you wholeheartedly believe and move forward in that step of faith, there is nothing that is going to stop you as He will provide all that is needed for you to succeed.
Esther demonstrated this in that while she was scared because her life was on the line, she believed speaking to the king was necessary to save her people and went.
Most recent for me was to care for my uncle and aunty. Financially it has been challenging but it was believing that God has something greater in store for me with the lessons of humility, sacrifice, and being connected with Him.
It is trusting that everything will work out and I will be able to use what I’ve learned during this time to do other things that brings glory, honor, and praise to our Heavenly Father.
Thank you Father God for allowing me to see that I needed to step out in faith plus actually walking it out in this season. I know it is to allow me to grow and draw closer to you. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve those that you have placed in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
