God knows and loves us all

Lead men devotions - september 2, 2022

Scripture - “God knows people’s hearts, and he confirmed that he accepts Gentiles by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he did to us. He made no distinction between us and them, for he cleansed their hearts through faith. We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.””
Acts of the Apostles 15:8-9, 11 NLT

Observation - God loves each and every one of us. not one of us are better or greater than the other; He accepts us all just as we are.

He gave us life; He also saved our lives - that each of us through Christ Jesus can be redeemed; that not one race, color, etc. are only able to come to Him and be extended grace.

Application - while we are not jewish, His chosen people, what we are - sinners in need of a Savior - so fortunate that He showered us with His mercy and love that we did choose to follow Jesus and have Him change us completely.

Prayer - thank you Father God that you did not just come to save just a handful of people, that you love each and every one of us and want us to yourself; that we would love you back.

thank you that we do find forgiveness through our Lord and Savior, Jesus. please never let me take that for granted and to return your love. in Jesus’ name i pray, amen!
